The twelve Fiend Martyrs and the nearly 20 thousand fiend soldiers lowered their heads in shame as they felt Archfiend Antigonus' wrath. None of them even dared to breathe.
"Your Excellency!"
However, at that moment, a figure quickly rushed forward. It was Grunt.
Archfiend Antigonus' face darkened when he saw that Grunt had ignored him.
"Oliver!"
Morticia walked out quickly and asked, "I ordered you to intercept Princess Dorothy and bring her back. Where is she?"
Morticia, Archfiend Antigonus, and his companions had not realized that the Oliver in front of them was fake. The soul inside of that body was actually Grunt.
"Your Excellency."
Grunt looked ashamed and said in a shaky voice, "I'm sorry. I could not capture her. We were on a cliff. I wanted to capture her there, but she missed a step and fell over the cliff."
As he spoke, he carefully glanced at the expression on the fiend's face and continued to say, "The cliff seemed bottomless. If I were to fall, I would definitely die, so I came back."
Morticia and the other Fiend Martyrs had a frown on their faces.
Oliver was so stupid that he made Princess Dorothy fall off the cliff.
"Heed my orders."
Archfiend Antigonus took a deep breath, looked around, and said coldly, "Go to the bottom of the cliff right now and investigate. Make sure to find the whereabouts of Princess Dorothy. I want to see her, alive or dead."
Archfiend Antigonus did not see Princess Dorothy as a threat to him, but no matter what, she was the Nine Heaven Emperor's daughter. Once he caught her, he would have a bargaining chip in his hand.
"Yes."
Morticia, the other Fiend Martyrs, and the fiend soldiers around them echoed in unison and soared into the sky. They quickly rushed toward the cliff that Grunt had mentioned.
