Seeing Darryl smiling, Diego thought he had guessed correctly and became more arrogant. "If that's true, I'll give you a chance. Get on the floor and bow to me three times and perhaps I'll let you become a servant who cleans the yard."
Then, he crossed his arms with an attitude.
'What an idiot,' Darryl sneered to himself and turned away, not looking at Diego.
That made Diego's expression change. 'How dare this mute guy ignore me. He's asking for trouble!'
One of the disciples noticed something was wrong and chuckled. "Diego, there's no point getting angry at a mute. Oh, Olive went to see the Sect Master—"
Before he could finish speaking, Diego interrupted, "What a joke. How could that ugly and stupid girl make the Sect Master give shelter to this guy?"
The disciple was baffled and laughed. "Of course not. Which disciple in the Sword Sect could be more favored than you."
Immediately, the other disciples followed suit.
"Yes. You're indeed the future Sect Master."
"Who among the Sword Sect would not respect you?"
Hearing their compliments, Diego felt superior and looked proud.
"Hey, you mute! Hurry and bow to me. Once my mood gets better, I'll let you stay as a servant. You have only one chance, so you'd better appreciate my kindness." Diego glared at Darryl with contempt.
He was used to acting arrogant and domineering. When he saw Darryl, he thought of all the ways he could humiliate him.
'Haha!' Darryl grinned and pretended that he did not hear anything.
"You ungrateful person!" Diego shouted and almost raised his hand, but he was held back by the disciples next to him.
