'Right. I must have been careless,' Xhanos thought.
Little did he know, his opponent had inherited the Sword Devil's Celestial Swordsmanship. Even Jedidiah would not be worthy of being his opponent.
At the same time, the disciples around them and Sienna were baffled.
'What's happening?'
'Xhanos got defeated by just one move? Even his longsword was knocked to the ground!'
'Didn't Xhanos underestimate his opponent?'
'Did he win?'
Olive was shocked and her body shuddered slightly. She then turned to Darryl with delight. 'I thought he'd lose badly. Who would have thought he'd defeat Xhanos so easily? What a surprise!'
As everyone was in doubt, Xhanos slowly walked to Sienna, looking guilty, and said with his head lowered, "Sienna, I'm sorry. I was too careless and I've let you down."
Sienna nodded. "It's okay. You may go."
Then, the disciples collected their thoughts and looked at Darryl with the disdain that they had previously.
'Xhanos said it. Looks like he was too careless just now.'
Then, Darryl held the longsword and glanced at everyone as he smiled. "Anyone else?"
Since they were just comparing sword techniques without internal energy, Darryl was not afraid even if Sienna and all the disciples fought him at once.
Instantly, the disciples stared at each other. They had never expected this man to win so easily and they had even provoked them.
Sienna pouted and her face was filled with disdain. 'Is he asking for trouble? He was just lucky and won the first round. Now he's starting to get all conceited?'
She glanced around her and asked, "Who's next?"
Immediately, a disciple with a large build stomped forward and shouted, "Me!"
