Perfect Husband, The Destined One novel Chapter 4345

"Look at the guy. He's here all alone, with all those marks on his face. I'm just being careful."

Darryl could not help the chuckle that escaped him. "Dude, I was just passing by."

He turned to Yolanda. "Well, since your group brother seems to have a bone to pick with me regardless of what I do, let's not go together. You'd better leave."

Then, Darryl turned to leave.

Darryl wanted to scout out the Maple Division. He did not have any ill intentions toward Yolanda. However, since Sergio was getting more annoying, he decided to cancel that plan.

"Brother Dart!"

Yolanda trailed after Darryl and clutched his arm, sincerity written all over her exquisite features. "I don't know what's going on with my group brother today. It's like he's gone mad. Don't listen to him."

Then, Yolanda looked at the marks on Darryl's face. "I reckon you weren't born with the marks on your face, Brother Dart? My master is a very skilled healer. If you come with us and rescue him, I'll ask him to help remove the marks as repayment. What do you think about that?"

Her words made perfect sense. It was a hard offer to turn down.

Darryl exhaled lightly. He remarked to himself in silent praise.

Yolanda was pretty young but knew that a good deed required repayment. People like that were hard to come by.

Yolanda grew desperate when she saw the wordless smile on Darryl's face. She continued to say, "Brother Dart, have you forgotten? You promised you'd teach me how to talk to beasts. Who's going to do that after you leave? Let's go together, please?"

Yolanda's eyes sparkled with sincerity.

"Group Sister!"

Sergio had finally lost his patience. "He was going to leave! Why did you stop him?"

Sergio cast a cold glance at Darryl. "Get out of here! Don't make things hard for us."

He was angry and helpless.

What was it about that man that had his group sister so charmed?

Whatever—there was no way he could travel with them.
