Suddenly, Sergio got up, walked up to Darryl, and called out softly, "Master!"
As he called out, he kept his head down and voice so low it was almost inaudible. It was humiliating for him to call Darryl Master, but he did not have a choice. He promised Darryl and he had not kept his promise, he would be even more hated by Yolanda.
Darryl indeed and said, "Alright. You've been cured, so go get some rest."
In the past, he would have reprimanded Sergio so he would know how to behave in the future. However, Darryl was still thinking about the Yellow Snake venom and was not bothered with Sergio.
At the same time, Yolanda scurried over and said to Sergio sincerely, "Please don't feel uncomfortable about this. Dart did this because you crossed your limits."
As she spoke, her tone was full of mixed emotions and she looked at Sergio helplessly.
'He was too arrogant. I hope he's learned a lesson after this incident,' she thought.
"I know," Sergio answered softly. He looked more sincere but deep down, he was inexplicably frustrated. 'D*mn it. I've admitted my mistake but Yolanda is still defending that guy. Why? What about this guy makes her always defend him?'
The more Sergio thought about it, the more resentful he felt. He then decided to take a walk outside to calm down.
"Sergio, where are you going?" Yolanda cried out to him.
"I can't sleep," Sergio answered softly without turning back as he walked out of the monastery.
Yolanda panicked and wanted to chase after him, but she was stopped by Darryl.
"Leave him be. Sergio has been repeatedly embarrassed in front of you. Just let him take a walk to clear his mind. He'll come back once he's figured things out." Darryl chuckled at Yolanda.
