One's words would be kind when death was near. Skylar knew he would not survive any longer after being tormented. Though he was a descendant of the fiend race, he decided to do a good deed before he died. After all, Yvette was only haunted by the fiend soul after being deceived by him.
'Formula? Related to Yvette?' Darryl was in shock, but he carefully memorized the formula.
Then, Skylar's face turned pale and he had almost lost his energy to even speak.
Darryl sighed to himself. 'Skylar still has a conscience. I hope he can be a good person in his next life.'
Then, he had a sudden thought and said, "Oh, right. Do you know where Celine, the Honorable Pianist, and her disciple are locked up?"
He was in a scramble when he thought of Celine and her disciple. 'The fire has been burning for so long. I wonder whether they can withstand it.'
'Celine, the Honorable Pianist?' Skylar shook his head and said, "I've never seen them, but there are many secret chambers underneath the Maple Manor…"
Halfway through his words, Skylar's eyes lost concentration and he stopped breathing. Seeing a hero like Skylar end up like that made Darryl feel mixed feelings as he took a deep breath.
Then, Darryl activated the energy of his fairy soul to throw Skylar's body into the fire. After that, he entered Maple Manor again and began searching the secret chamber carefully. With Skylar's clue, Darryl was no longer aimlessly searching, but instead, he specifically searched the underground secret chambers.
Finally, he heard a voice from a room near the garden in the back of the manor.
'I heard something!' he thought, thinking the voice sounded like a lady.
He immediately followed the voice. He quickly lifted the floor of the room and saw a tunnel. He jumped down, took dozens of steps and came to a secret chamber.
