Perfect Husband, The Destined One novel Chapter 4417

All at once, everyone in the room turned toward Sergio in shock and rage.

That man had some nerve, daring to break into the Empress' room. However, Yvette did not disclose her royal identity in the Great East, so the royal guards swallowed their anger and did not strike the man immediately.

At the same time, Sergio stopped short at the sight that greeted him as well.

Why were there so many people in the room?

The next second, Sergio's gaze fell onto Yvette. He stared at her in a trance, unable to help the gasp that escaped it.

Wow, what a beauty!

The air of class that she emanated was worlds apart from a woman like Kendall.

It was hard to believe that such a beautiful woman would roam the streets of a small town like that.

Sergio's gaze displeased Yvette greatly, her features clouded with frost. 'What a disrespectful man, daring to stare at me like that. He must have a death wish.'

"Where do you hail from, uncultured swine? How dare you stare at our High Lady that way?"

The royal guards could not contain their anger. One guard stepped out to point at Sergio and yelled, "Get on your knees to apologize to my High Lady immediately."

Yvette did not wish to reveal her identity as the New World Empress, so the royal guards had been instructed to refer to her as their High Lady.

'Get on my knees?'

Sergio was startled momentarily before quickly regaining his composure and flashing a smirk. "High Lady, indeed. More like high and mighty. All I did was look, and you're asking me to get down on my knees for an apology? What right do you have to ask that of me?"

Sergio did not know that the beautiful woman before him was the Empress of the New World, someone of incredible status. Someone he should not have provoked.

As far as Sergio knew, Yvette was merely the daughter of a wealthy family. He was far from rich, but he was not about to get down on his knees just like that.

Sergio cast another look at Yvette's body deliberately, without the slightest bit of remorse.

'Just some rich girl. Nothing to fear.'
