Sienna felt rather tipsy and she wished to return to the room to lay with Diego.
"That's impossible!" Diego shook his head and objected. "Sect Master Swae also drank wine just now. From what I know about him, he would never produce elixirs when he's drunk. What is even stranger is that the door isn't guarded. Don't you think that's unusual?"
Seeing Diego talking seriously, Sienna became clear-headed and said, "Diego, do you mean that the guard was knocked unconscious and the person inside is a thief?"
As she spoke, she became emotional all of a sudden. 'If we catch a thief for the Thunder Fire Gate, Comulonimbus will certainly be grateful to us. Then, myself and Diego will become a VIP here.'
Diego and Sienna looked at each other and barged in without hesitation.
In the elixir production room, Darryl felt relaxed and hummed as he filled a porcelain bottle with pills. For the past half hour, he had produced five or six types of pills. Some were holy medicines to treat injuries and some were used to enhance his strength in critical moments.
Suddenly, he heard the sound of two people's footsteps.
'Are two of the guards back here again?' Darryl froze for a while but he did not bother as he thought they were the two disciples who left previously. As he muttered to himself, two figures entered the room swiftly.
When Darryl saw it was Diego and Sienna, he was stunned. 'It's them?'
His good mood disappeared in an instant. 'F*ck! Why are these two fools here at the Thunder Fire Gate?'
'This guy?' At the same time, when Diego and Sienna saw it was Darryl, they were stunned, too.
Finally, Diego collected his thoughts and faked a smile at Darryl. "Good lad! Indeed, enemies often cross paths. You escaped earlier in the day and who knew I'd run into you again at night."
As he spoke, he held the hilt of his sword tightly and was ready to attack at any time.
Darryl chuckled and retorted softly, "I never expected this either. The two of you are indeed haunting me."
"Stop pretending. You can't escape tonight," Sienna shouted.
