Rumble!
He had barely left before the spiritual energy in the Jade Spiritual Realm was thoroughly in chaos. Under its terrifying forces, the independently built Jade Spiritual Realm shattered instantly.
The air was covered in a thick layer of dust and smoke.
Just then, a group of royal guards on patrol passed by. Their jaws dropped when they saw the scene.
"What's going on?"
"Something's happened at the Jade Spiritual Realm."
"Could the Ancient Ancestor have run into trouble while cultivating?"
"Don't say that."
As they murmured among themselves, the royal guards moved to rush in and see what was happening. However, the cloud of dust was far too thick for them to see anything, and the forces within were far too powerful.
Half an hour later, the dust slowly began to clear, and the royal guards could finally see what was happening. They widened their eyes in horror and shock.
The Jade Spiritual Realm was destroyed, leaving behind a mess within a hundred kilometers radius. An old, wrinkled figure sat cross-legged, unmoving, and expressionless among the chaos.
It was the Ancient Ancestor's physical form.
Without his fairy spirit, the Ancient Ancestor was as good as dead.
The royal guards flew into a panic.
"Crap, something's happened to the Ancient Ancestor."
"Quick, we need to inform the Emperor."
……
Meanwhile, on the Phoenix Feather Mountain of the Great East.
The battle between Yvette and the rest against the Fiend Martyr Thoth was ongoing. Both parties exploded with energy as the sky rolled with dark clouds and the air thickened with dust and flying rocks. It was as if it was the end of the world.
Even though Yvette worked with the royal guards, they remained on more or less equal ground with Thoth.
Thoth flashed a sinister smile. The blood-red ray of light around him grew, sending the royal guards flying over a hundred meters through the air. They landed heavily onto the ground, their faces pale and their bodies completely drained of the ability to keep fighting.
Only Yvette and Thoth were left hovering in mid-air.
Crap!
