Perfect Husband, The Destined One novel Chapter 4485

"Blaise!"

When he realized what had happened, Thoth shouted, "Be careful! That woman's more dangerous than you think. She has Janson's inheritance, a descendant of the fiend race."

Ah, so that was the case.

Blaise's expression shifted. He stared at Yvette with mild interest. "A fiend descendant, fraternizing with the enemy? I'd get a huge reward if I take you back to the Honorable Archfiend, wouldn't I?"

Blaise exploded with energy as the words rang through the air as a fierce battle broke out between him and Yvette.

Yvette was no match for Blaise despite having the fiend soul in her. She had barely gotten past two rounds when she was stumped repeatedly, suffering bout after bout of defeat.

"Let's go!"

Celine and Queenie exchanged glances as they started to move forward.

"No, don't! Leave while you still can. Leave, please!" Blaise was far too strong. There was no beating him, even if the three of them joined forces.

"No way."

Celine shook her head. "We can't do that. What's going to happen to you if we leave?"

Yvette panicked and shouted, "Listen to me! I have a fiend soul; they can't do much to me! If all of us get caught, that'll mean trouble."

Celine gnawed at her lip to the point of almost bleeding. Finally, she agreed. She turned to Queenie and shouted, "Let's go!"

Celine grabbed Queenie and soared off into the distance.

Yvette was right. If all three of them stayed behind, they would all get caught.

"Trying to escape?"

Blaise grew angry and moved forward to stop them. However, Yvette held him back, and he could not shake her off at all.

Blaise raised his hand to shove Yvette backward in a fit of anger. As she got to her feet, he swiftly blocked her acupoint.

Yvette instantly stilled with a jerk. She was utterly unable to move.

"Trying to be the hero?"

Blaise glared at Yvette sinisterly. "Well, I'll grant this wish for you. It'll be up to the Honorable Archfiend whether you live or die when you see him."
