The High Official of the Ministry of War finally snapped to his senses and took a step forward.
"Your Majesty the Queen, the fiends are an evil and zealous race. Even though the royal family descended from their race, Your Majesty has always drawn a clear line with them. That is why we can't ally ourselves with the fiends, let alone serve them. The South Cloud Royals have already fallen into the fiend race's hands, and the entire South Cloud World is in a panic. We cannot follow in their footsteps and destroy this millennium-old foundation," he said to Yvette.
He made a clear stand over his views. His statement received the approval of the other officials.
"Yes, Your Majesty. Please reconsider."
"Serving the fiend race is no different to entering the tiger's den, Your Majesty."
The officials were extremely puzzled as they spoke one after another.
Something had been terribly off ever since Her Majesty the Queen returned, and her sudden change of stance made them wonder if she was being controlled by someone?
Yvette was unmoved by their remarks. She looked intently at the High Official of the Ministry of War. "I've made up my mind. Spare me your lectures."
She lacked any willpower because she was under Archfiend Antigonus's control. Her one and only thought was to help the fiends remove all obstacles.
The High Official of the Ministry of War was getting anxious. He knelt right away and said fervently, "If Your Majesty doesn't retract your order, I shall kneel here until Your Majesty does."
He did not believe that Yvette would become so indifferent toward it and he was certain that something else was at play behind everything. Unfortunately, he was unaware that Yvette was no longer the same queen she was before.
Upon seeing that, Yvette's face was extremely cold and she yelled, "Bold of you to threaten me!"
The High Official of the Ministry of War gritted his teeth and said with a firm attitude, "I'm begging you, Your Majesty. Please retract your order."
Yvette went straight to the point and said coldly, "Fine! Do you intend to use your death to demonstrate your sincerity? I'll grant your wish then."
Once she finished her speaking, she manifested her fiend soul power and raised her fair-skinned hand. A red light darted out like lightning and headed straight toward the high official. Yvette no longer had the capacity to hear reason. Anyone who dared to oppose her would have to die.
