What?
The crowd fell silent and grew abuzz with chatter.
"What's he saying?"
"Even the late Emperor would not know what to do when faced with a situation like that, and he's claiming that someone else has a plan?"
"Trying to show off again!"
Darryl paid no mind to the growing chatter and looked at Wiz Immortal and Empress Heidi. "I'm not joking. There's only one person here capable of taming Shakun today.
"And that person is Prince Aurin."
The crowd fell silent. Everyone's gazes focused on Prince Aurin all at once.
Finally, Wiz Immortal was the first to snap back to his senses. He could not help but mock Darryl. "You're joking, right? Shakun has lost all control that even Prince Auten could not handle it, and he's far stronger than Prince Aurin. How is that possible?"
Many officials nodded in agreement.
At the same time, Empress Heidi could not control her anger and shock. She glared coldly at Darryl. That Barely Immortal was annoying—he had dared to say that only Prince Aurin could solve the situation at hand. Did that not imply that he was better than her son Auten?
"Master!"
As the tension thickened, Prince Aurin grew slightly anxious as well. He tugged Darryl's shoulder and said in a low voice, "Don't say things like that! Auten bragged just now, and look where it landed him. How would I have the skills to tame Shakun?"
He knew what he could do and the extent of his capabilities.
"Hey!"
