Right at that moment, Prince Auten walked into the room; he seemed ashamed and angry.
"Mother Empress!"
Once he was in front of her, Prince Auten said indignantly, "Aurin and that Barely Immortal are such despicable people! How dare they make Wiz Immortal call him his master. Wiz Immortal is my master. Does that mean I am the grand-disciple? That is so embarrassing. How am I going to live that down in the future?"
When Prince Auten said that, his eyes were filled with anger and resentment. Bloody hell, he will not just let that day's matter go just like that.
"Enough!" Empress Heidi was already annoyed. She furrowed her brows when she heard him complaining and said curtly, "How dare you come to me complaining about this? If you and Wiz Immortal didn't underestimate your opponent, would you have ended up like this? You two placed the bet with everyone looking at you. What could I have done?"
Prince Auten lowered his head. He felt extremely awkward.
"It's very odd!" At that moment, Empress Heidi furrowed her brows. She could not hide the confusion in her mind. She said to herself, "How did Aurin tame Shakun? And, the storm, how was it formed?"
While talking to herself, the scene appeared on Empress Heidi's mind. However, she still had no clue because the storm entirely enveloped Aurin and Shakun. She could not see anything then.
Prince Auten could not help but say, "Mother Empress, I don't think Aurin has those abilities. That Barely Immortal was the key point."
Prince Auten's eyes flashed sinisterly. "If I'm right, Shakun's violence was his doing too. Otherwise, how could he have noticed Shakun's weakness so quickly?"
Prince Auten's heart was filled with hatred and resentment. He started to speculate about the situation.
Empress Heidi started to ponder that.
Prince Auten's words made sense. Indeed, it was possible. Shakun was very powerful. It had never been in a situation like that before. Why did it suddenly turn violent?
The Barely Immortal was a Heaven Immortal. Even though he seemed like a lunatic, it was not impossible for him to do something discreetly to get Shakun to turn violent.
It was only that…
However, all those were just wild speculations. There was no evidence to support that.
Then, Empress Heidi said gently, "Auten, we have no evidence. Let's not talk nonsense."
Prince Auten smiled and said sinisterly, "Mother Empress, if we don't have any evidence, we can look for it. Have you forgotten that Sheila and Aurin are close? I'm sure she knows something."
