Perfect Husband, The Destined One novel Chapter 4660

Due to the sudden pain striking her stomach, Morticia did not have any strength left in her. She nearly fainted when Quincy found out that she was pregnant. Once Quincy knew about the pregnancy, Morticia confirmed that Quincy would insult and torment her even more terribly. She knew Quincy would not let go of this chance since she had used Quincy to control the South Cloud Royals. It was a great shame for the Empress herself.

Thinking of such, Morticia bit her lower lip until it nearly bled. "Just…kill me."

She would rather die rather than live and be humiliated. The only concern was her poor baby who did not live till the day to see the world.

"Wishing to die?" Quincy smirked when Morticia begged for death. "I am not going to grant you your wish. I want to show you the consequences of bringing shame to me!"

With that said, Quincy ordered the royal guards, "Post the royal notice in the whole city immediately. An hour from now, this wicked Fiend race will parade the streets to receive public shaming!"

"Yes, Your Majesty!" The royal guards accepted the order and quickly went off to be ready.

Parade the street to receive public shaming? Morticia's body trembled. Her face was full of despair. She would rather die than receive public shaming by parading the street and disgrace her honor as a Fiend Martyr.

In the meantime, Quincy looked at Morticia from high up while teasing her. "As far as I know, the Fiend race was being annihilated in the Godly Region and you were the last one who escaped. I am very curious, who is the father of your baby. Are there other survivors other than you?"

"It's none of your business," Morticia responded coldly. Her attitude was very determined despite the weak voice.

"None of my business?" Quincy felt a flash of irritation. "Because of the ambition of your race, you caused catastrophes in The Nine Mainland. Many soldiers and elites of the community in my kingdom had died. How dare you said it's none of my business?"

Upon hearing it, Morticia bit her lower lips and her face flushed red. There was nothing she could refute back. Quincy was right. Many of the elites of the community in The Nine Mainland had perished because of her race over these two years.
