When Stella returned to the Fire Ice Island, she focused all of her energy on cultivating. She delegated management of the island's affairs to her four brothers.
The four brothers were a little dense and simple-minded, but the Ice Fire Island was far enough away from land that nothing disastrous occurred.
The Ice Fire Island was located in an area with unusual climate features and was home to a special breed of fish known as the Ice Marrow Fish. The fish resembled a sea snake, snow-white in color and ice-cold to the touch. Its spiritual energy was unique, and it was considered an excellent health supplement for cultivators.
As a result, when the four brothers saw the Blancs' wooden boat, they assumed they had broken into the Ice Fire Island to steal the Ice Marrow Fish. It was important to emphasize that many pirates had attempted to do so in the past few years.
The Ice Marrow Fish?
When Yarl saw the brothers yelling between themselves, he went forward with furrowed brows and yelled, "We are just passing through, guys. Please stay out of our way so that we can stay out of yours."
They were passing by?
The four brothers exchanged a glance before frowning at the words.
First Scope snapped back to his senses the next second. "Are you the captain?" he inquired loudly.
Yarl nodded.
First Scope continued to ask, "Who are you guys? Where are you headed to?"
"We're escaping from somewhere," Yarl said through gritted teeth, trying to hold onto his temper. "As for where we're going, I can't tell you."
Was that so?
First Scope nodded as he heard the response. "I don't think he's lying," he said to his three brothers.
Third Scope said as the words resonated across the air, "I agree with you. Look at the size of him. Do you think a scrawny man like him would dare lie to our faces?"
"No, that's not right."
Second Scope shook his head. "What if he made that up and is here to steal the Ice Marrow Fish? Junior Sister once taught us not to judge a book by its cover. That man may appear innocent, but who knows what's going on in his head? For all we know, he could be a liar."
The brothers' voices were loud, and Yarl heard every word they said clearly. His rage erupted in an instant.
Motherf*cker! How dare those guys call him a liar?
However, given the current circumstances, it was essential to avoid conflict, so Yarl kept his cool.
