'Formation?' Empress Heidi chuckled and said, "That is for your dear Aurin's safety. Why would it be boring? Be a good girl and continue keeping an eye on them, okay?"
"Okay!" Princess Sheila answered unwillingly.
As they spoke, a soldier scurried in as he looked perplexed. He knelt before Empress Heidi and said, "Your Majesty, something happened to the demons." As he spoke, he was sweating profusely.
"How many times have I said that?" Empress Heidi furrowed her eyebrows and said unhappily, "No matter how urgent the matter is, you should report to me outside the bedchamber. It's ridiculous to just barge in like this."
Immediately, Prince Auten also criticized the soldier. "What a fool!"
"Yes, yes…" The soldier was frantic and did not stop kowtowing. "Your Majesty, Your Highness, please don't be angry. I was reckless."
Empress Heidi sighed and did not want to waste her breath. "Tell me, what is so urgent? What happened to the demons?"
Empress Heidi was calm. The demons had been repressed where they were held captive for a few thousand years. Their vitality had been severed so they could not cause too big of an uproar.
"Your Majesty." The soldier wiped his sweat and said, "All this time, the demons had been expanding their territory. Today, they’ve conquered the Floating Island. Based on what I heard, the demons want to build a stronghold there."
'What?' Empress Heidi and Prince Auten were shocked.
The Floating Island was located near the Imperial Sky Palace, and its strategic location was essential to the Godly Region. Furthermore, the environment was complex—easy to defend but a challenge to attack. Previously, to ambush the Nine Heaven Emperor, the fiends had released fake news that the Ancient Ancestor's fairy soul had been kept there.
The demons were too arrogant to want to build a stronghold on the Floating Island.
"Is that true?" However, Princess Sheila was excited. She asked the soldier, "I heard that the demons have many of their warriors have a beast face and a human body. That's interesting. If they build a stronghold on the Floating Island, I will be able to find them."
Princess Sheila had always been playful, and due to her young age, she was clueless about the significance of the Floating Island in war strategies.
