"If that's the case, we might have misunderstood Yarl."
"I agree. We've watched Yarl since he was a little boy. He wouldn't have done such a treacherous act of conquesting the fiend soul."
"Yarl is right. The most important thing is to think how can we defeat Ice Fire Island and rescue Her Excellency."
As everyone started to discuss, an elder stood up and looked around. "Everyone, the clan can't be without a leader to lead us. Therefore, I suggest Yarl remains as our trusted head of the clan. We shall work together and assist him in bringing prosperity to our clan."
Most people started nodding their heads to show that they agreed with it.
"That's right, Young Master Yarl is a talented young man. Therefore, no one else other than him had the right to be head of the clan."
"I agree too."
Yarl could not describe how excited he was to see it.
'Haha! It's so easy to fool them. All I needed was to lie a little, and somehow, they believed in me.'
Yarl replied humbly, "Thank you, everyone. True blue will never stain. I'm glad that everyone believes in me. I'm not ashamed, even if I was misunderstood. I, Yarl Blanc, swear that I will bring prosperity to our clan. We should rest and recuperate here. Once the timing is right, we should head toward Ice Fire Island to rescue Her Excellency and avenge my father."
The speech Yarl gave was passionate and uplifting. Then, all of the disciples started to chant.
"Revenge, revenge!"
At the same time, a clear, alluring, and yet cold voice was heard from the sea. "What a speech. True blue will never stain? Are you not ashamed?"
Everyone was shocked to hear the voice. They immediately looked toward the sea.
'What?' Yarl trembled and took in many breaths.
His body turned stiff while his brain became empty. He was so shocked that he rubbed his eyes to make sure what he saw was not his imagination.
Although the darkness had prevailed, he could clearly see that not a far distance from the beach, many ships were cruising toward them. The ships were all painted black. Under the dim light from the moon, the ships were as massive as a sea monster, and they were full of people standing on board.
They all had muscular bodies, and they held long sabers in their hand, looking very fierce and undefeatable. The leading ship had a giant flag. It was raised more than a few feet high above with three words written on it.
