Perfect Husband, The Destined One novel Chapter 4783

However, when she thought of Hackett's accomplishments in those years, Skye's heart went cold again. "That trash, he should have died long ago. He gave me nothing at all!"

When he heard her say that, Theodore laughed and jumped to his feet. He sat beside Skye, arms around her. "Well, that trash does not deserve your attention," he said as his hands snaked around her body. "It's only natural that he died to make way for us."

Theodore was in an excellent mood. Over the years, he had been trying his best to take over the Lambert family's companies. However, Hackett had been stubborn and refused to sign the agreement.

There were no other options left for Theodore but to kill him. Not only would he be able to take over the Lambert family's properties, but Hackett's lovely wife would also become his.

Skye groaned and pushed Theodore lightly. "Look at how impatient you are. It's still early. Let's have a few more drinks." Skye hooked her arms around Theodore's neck. Any man in Theodore's position would never be able to hold back.

It was Archfiend Antigonus who had occupied Hackett's body.

"What the—"

Theodore was enraged when his excellent mood was cut short, and he was about to curse. After only spitting two words, he was stunned when he realized it was Hackett. He could not help but gasp loudly.

'He's not dead?' he thought.

'How could Kratos fail?' Didn't he just send a message saying Hackett died in a car accident? How is he here? Is that a spirit?' His thoughts were racing with unanswered questions.

"You—"
