Perfect Husband, The Destined One novel Chapter 4841

'What a joke.' Darryl put on his groom's suit as he felt emotional, and a servant soon arrived to take him out to the yard.

The Stanford family decorated the place with colorful lights and lanterns, creating a festive scene.

There was a lovely sedan chair outside the yard, and the greeting entourage lined in a long queue behind it.

Darryl felt out of place as he sat in the sedan chair. He began to recollect the days when he became the Lyndons' live-in son-in-law.

Though the sky was still dark, the street along Stanford's residence was already crowded. Everyone in Hidden Dragon Town knew that the Stanfords were getting a live-in son-in-law that day. Therefore, they were there to check out the fun on the wedding day.

"Let's go!" Then, the leader of the wedding entourage shouted. Instantly, the wedding attendants started playing musical instruments as they started walking.

As the drum and firecrackers sounded, the onlookers started discussing as they pointed at the sedan chair.

"It is, indeed, a Stanford wedding. That wedding entourage is so grand!"

"What a pity! The person sitting in the sedan chair is infamous trash."

"Yes, there is a rumor that the Stanford family's daughter is terminally ill. Otherwise, Old Master Stanford would not marry Derrick into the family."

"That's a pity. I heard that their daughter is gorgeous!"

Darryl pretended he had not heard the conversation as it carried on. All he wanted was for the procession to conclude swiftly. He would find a way to escape after discovering a cure for Selina.

The wedding party rushed past the main street and into the Hidden Dragon Town's countryside.

Hidden Dragon Town was undeniably beautiful, like a paradise. It was mid-summer, and flowers had blossomed on both sides of the highways leading out of town. The greeneries were lush, and it was a breathtaking scene.

"Stop, stop!" As Darryl admired the beautiful scenery through the window on the sedan chair, a voice suddenly shouted from the front. The wedding entourage was forced to stop.
