Once Ronny finished speaking, the other rich kids nodded in agreement.
"How can a loser know how to concoct medicine?"
"That's right. He's trying to fool you."
They laughed at him. However, Darryl just chuckled lightly and did not pay any attention to them. Sandra bit her lip and stared blankly at Darryl. She was a little touched and anxious at the same time. She did not expect a loser like him to step forward to save her. However, could he really concoct the medicine to repair Marvin's injured heart vessels?
Coleman's face clouded into an incredibly unpleasant expression as he assessed the situation.
"Damn you!" Coleman grabbed Darryl's collar and snarled. "Are you playing with me?" At that moment, Coleman also believed that Darryl was lying. He did not look like a person who had the skill and knowledge to concoct medicine, especially medicine to treat heart vessels.
Darryl smiled at Coleman and said, "My life is in your hands now. Do you think I dare to lie to you? Besides, Marvin can't afford to waste any time with his condition. Why don't you just give me a chance?"
Coleman fell into deep silence. When he was about to humiliate Sandra, he already knew there was no healing elixir on her body. Furthermore, Coleman noticed that Marvin's breath was getting weaker, his face was paler—his situation had worsened.
After a moment of silence, Coleman looked at Darryl with a complicated look. He nodded. "Alright, I will trust you this time. If you fail to prepare the medicine, then I will kill all of you."
'What?' Ronny and the others were stupefied. 'Is he crazy? He is going to believe him?' They could not accept that they would be implicated if Derrick failed to prepare the medicine.
Ronny yelled at Coleman because he could not take it anymore. "My good man! He is merely joking. This has nothing to do with us. You can kill him if he fails. Please don't make us a part of his failure."
