Perfect Husband, The Destined One novel Chapter 4884

In the next second, Antonio said, "Well, I didn't know there's a loser living in Hidden Dragon Town. And who cooperates with the bandits. Bailiffs, take him down now." His tone was stern and undoubtful.

Antonio was a constable, and he had a very close relationship with Ronny. He often had to help Ronny deal with victims the latter bullied, and because of that, he often received many advantages from Ronny. Since Ronny insisted on capturing Darryl, he needed to cooperate with Ronny. The bailiffs quickly drew their swords and surrounded Darryl.

Darryl was furious. He clenched his fists tightly. 'What the f*ck? I risked my life and tried to think of ways to save everyone, and this is how they treat me? If I knew about this, I would have left Ronny, that b*stard, with the bandits.'

Darryl was influenced by his rage and wanted to fight back. Even though his divine power was limited, he had no trouble fighting those bailiffs.

The atmosphere darkened at that point, and the air was thick with the smell of heavy firepower.

"Hold on!" Sandra asked as she walked forward and stood in front of Darryl after remaining silent the entire time. "What are you doing? The only reason we are safe now is because of Derrick. And you want to capture him now?"

She turned to look at Ronny and said coldly, "The Heavenly Dragon Sect will never burn bridges after we cross them." Her voice was not loud, but it was domineering.

Ronny felt awkward and said, "Senior Sister, Derrick might be helping us, but who knows what he is up to? You saw it too; he was so good with the bandits. Isn't that suspicious?" He looked at Darryl with his cold eyes and disdain.

There were no changes to Sandra's expression. She persisted in her standpoint. "I believe that Derrick is a good guy. Ronny, if you are going to go after him, then you can capture me too."

Even though Sandra had just met Darryl, she firmly believed that Derrick, the live-in son-in-law, was not trash like everyone said.
