"But someone left some Sulfur Weeds outside the door just now. That was how we could cure you."
Daisy's words fell out before she finally glanced at Darryl with interest. "I forgot to ask your name after talking so much. Sorry! Who delivered the Sulfur Weeds? They must be someone pretty powerful."
Uhh…
In response to Daisy's onslaught of inquiries, Darryl was speechless. However, his chest pounded with realization as he seemed to understand something.
He had lost consciousness in the forest and was brought back. Due to his weakness, he would have needed to be treated with Sulfur Weeds, but none was available. Then, a mysterious individual dropped them off right on cue.
Who could it be?
He did not know a single person on the Cryolet Continent, let alone have any friends there. Who would have been so concerned about his well-being?
As he pondered, Darryl's eyes flashed with realization. Did Crazy Sphinx do that?
At the sight of him staying silent, Daisy pressed on with even more questions.
Sir Moonshine pretended to cough twice before giving her a stern look. "That young man has just woken up, Daisy. He must rest. Don't ask him more questions. Get to bed immediately."
As he spoke, he signaled Daisy not to ask any further questions by shaking his head in her direction.
What a naive disciple! Having a mysterious savior drop off all those Sulfur Weeds for him in the middle of the night, it was clear that the man was not a typical individual. Also, it might not be a good idea to know too much.
As the words reverberated through the air, Keele spoke up next to her. "That's right, Daisy. It's getting extremely late. Let's go to bed." As he spoke, Keele could not resist glancing at Darryl, unable to conceal the contempt in his eyes.
What was it about that man that made his Junior Sister feel such a strong passion for him?
Daisy's expression was one of pure reluctance, but she returned to her room with a pout nevertheless.
Keele also turned to leave.
Sir Moonshine looked at Darryl thoughtfully before smiling as they departed. "Sir, you are not in the best of health right now. I suggest you stay here at the Lunar Moon Hut to rest and recover. It is relatively quiet here. You will get some peace."
"A million thanks!" Darryl was very grateful.
Sir Moonshine did not say anything else; he returned to his room to sleep.
