'Set up a sect?'
Everyone, including Heather, frowned and stared at each other.
However, most people there were idle cultivators who did not belong to any sect. Quickly, someone said, "Since Mister Dawson said so, I'm willing to join."
That man was rather excited. 'This is just the first day of the tournament, and they're already giving out inner cores from Martial Saint's enchanted beasts. If I were to join this newly set up sect, then wouldn't I get more benefits?'
After someone took the lead, the others became enthused and nodded to indicate their agreement.
"I'm willing too!"
"This big boss is so generous, so the sect he's setting up must not be too shabby. I'm in too!"
"And me!"
Ludakris smiled and was thrilled when he saw everyone's good responses.
The first person to decide to join then approached Ludakris and said, "Mister Dawson, my name is Channing Masson. Is there any ritual to be observed to join? I'll go first."
Ludakris' smile grew wider, and he stretched out his hand with the blood-red beads. He said, "It's very simple. Drip your blood on this bead and swear allegiance to the Bloody Fiend Sect. It is the Blood Oath."
'Bloody Fiend Sect?'
Channing could not help but mutter to himself. 'Why does that name sound so evil?'
However, he did not think much before he nodded. Then, he took out a dagger, cut his finger, and dripped his blood on the blood-red beads.
Voom…
As the blood dripped on the bead, Channing felt strange dizziness in his head. However, it was only for a fleeting moment. He did not bother about it and stepped aside.
"Congratulations, Channing, for becoming the sect's first disciple."
Ludakris smiled and looked at the others. "Who's next?"
