Underwater, Ambrose felt his world turn upside down as his body sank along with the current. Ambrose was shocked as the cold and freezing current moved past, since he felt pain all over his body.
'F*ck! Who is that guy? He's so strong that even when I teamed up with Neil, we still couldn't beat him. Oh yes, Neil!'
Just then, Ambrose remembered something and quickly looked around. Very soon, he discovered not far away, there was a body drifting along with the current.
It was Neil.
Although there was a little distance, Ambrose figured that Neil had passed out. If he was not rescued in time, he could drown. Ignoring the pain in his body, he swam over with all his might to grab Neil.
That was when he saw that Neil's face was as pale as paper, and his eyes were shut tightly. Neil had used up all of his energy to face the attack from Antigonus. He was fatigued and could no longer bear it after dropping into the ocean.
'Brother, stay with me, stay with…'
Ambrose grabbed Neil tightly and swam to the front with every power he had left. Unfortunately, since they were in the ocean, there was no way to tell which direction they faced. Hence, Ambrose panicked.
They planned to rescue Heather, but they did not expect the island to host such a terrifying person. Not only did they fail to rescue Heather, they nearly died doing it.
Ambrose did not care if he got killed because of the rescue mission, but nothing could happen to Neil. However, if Neil passed away, Ambrose would have difficulty explaining it to Chester, and he would feel guilty for the rest of his life.
Finally, after much effort, Ambrose finally resurfaced with Neil. He took a deep breath.
Next, he took a look around him and was stunned. He saw a huge coral reef ahead, and further down, there was a deserted island.
There was nothing else except the ocean on the deserted island. They had drifted with the current and inconspicuously left the Dragon King Island.
'Thank God.'
