When they heard that, everyone stared at each other and fell silent.
'It sounds like the head of the Elixir Sector is right.'
Zacho took a deep breath and nodded in agreement. "Darryl is right. Let us get started. All the elders have remained true to the North Sea Galaxy and me. They will not hurt the Mistress, I believe. The search is merely a formality, and I am sure no one here would object."
Then, Zacho waved to a servant girl and said, "You! Please search the elders."
The servant girl answered and was about to search them.
'Sh*t!'
Immediately, Magnum started to panic, and he could not help but shout, "Sect Master, no way. How could the North Sea Galaxy be bossed around by an outsider?
"Wouldn't the North Sea Galaxy become a joke within the community if we did as he said and allowed our bodies to be searched?"
'D*mn it. I have the Hysteria Powder with me. If they found it, then I'm screwed. I must stop this.'
Magnum's yelling drew a frown from Zacho.
The other elders also started to get doubtful too. 'Why is Elder Walt against the search so strongly?'
Darryl chuckled and looked at Magnum with an intense gaze. "Elder, do you mean you'd be embarrassed if we search you today? And, if words get out, your fellow peers would laugh at you?"
"No sh*t!" Magnum rolled his eyes and said impolitely, "If I were to go to the Pure Yang Division and search you, would you let me do that?" Deep down, he was flustered and angry. Little did he know that he had fallen into Darryl's trap.
'Hmm…'
Darryl pretended to agree and nodded. "If someone were to go to the Pure Yang Division and search me, of course, I would not agree to it. Isn't it shameful?"
As he spoke, his eyes flickered with mockery.
Magnum nodded. "Isn't it? You are unwilling to do that, but you insist on searching us, is that right?"
Darryl shook his head. "No."
