"Well…"
Goliry drew her longsword in frustration, her gaze fixed on Darryl. "So, do you have a way to make me immune to fire like you?"
Her eyes were wide with anticipation as she spoke.
Darryl scratched at his head, giving the impression that he was deep in thought. "I do, but—"
Goliry cut him off before he could finish his sentence, saying, "Help me, quickly."
Darryl smiled and spoke slowly, "You are quite the character, aren't you?" You just attempted to kill me, and now you expect me to help you? Do you think that is a viable option?"
Goliry's beautiful face flushed instantly as she said coldly, "Fine. If you don't help me, I will kill you before I burn to death."
As she spoke the words, Goliry's expression was ice-cold. 'How dare that b*stard threaten me?'
'F*ck me!'
Darryl was speechless and exasperated at Goliry's reaction. That woman was reckless, ready to strike and kill at any moment.
Yet, Darryl knew that she would not make a move if she had any chance at survival.
Darryl put on a brave face at the thought. "I never imagined I would be at the mercy of your sword in the first place. If you want, you can kill me.
"Anyways, I just need you to do one thing for me if you want my help. Or I won't help you at all, even if you kill me."
"You—"
Goliry was enraged because he was still attempting to bargain at the time. Nonetheless, she asked coldly, "What is it?" Darryl had guessed correctly—she knew Darryl was immune to fire and would not strike as easily.
After all, no one wanted to die.
Darryl was at ease as he grinned toothily, seeing as she was willing to cooperate. "I'm not going to make it difficult for you. Why don't you ask nicely and call me darling? Then I will help you!"
What?
Goliry's expression changed as she heard the words, a murderous aura emanating from her. "You're looking to die!"
Goliry drew her longsword and pointed at Darryl's chest as the words rang through the air.
