"I was just worried for you."
Darryl could tell that Goliry had just overcome a difficult challenge and her body was extremely weak. She could not exert any force, which was why he was not worried that she would attack her.
"Get lost!" Goliry's beautiful face reddened, and she yelled rudely, "Stop messing around with me. Get out of the water and turn around, now!"
'The pool is so cold, and I can't stay in the water. I have to get up quickly.'
'But in this current state, if I get out of the water, wouldn't Darryl take advantage of me?'
Darryl was displeased with Goliry's demanding tone. He chuckled softly and said, "Why would I want to get out of the water? The pool looks nice. I want to be here for a while longer.
"If you want to leave, go ahead. I'm not stopping you."
As Darryl spoke, his eyes flickered with cunningness.
"You—" Goliry was furious, but she did not know how to respond.
'Darryl is so shameless! The pool is so cold. Who would be so silly to stay here the whole time? He wants to take advantage of me! How can such a shameless person exist in this world?'
Then, Darryl splashed the water and pretended like he was enjoying himself. He squinted and said, "Ah, I almost got burned to death in the cave. How nice it is to be in the water now."
Then, he looked at Goliry with a half-smile. "Fairy, if you're not leaving, you can keep me company here."
Darryl teased Goliry on purpose because he knew she was frail. 'That is what she gets for being so arrogant all the time!'
"Shut up!" Goliry blushed. She pursed her lips and interrupted Darryl. "Why should I keep you company?"
Then she asked impatiently, "Are you leaving or not?"
Darryl made an exaggerated expression on his face. "You shouldn't be like that, Fairy. You are free to leave at any time. Why are you on my case? Furthermore, this is not your pool. Why can't I stay here a little longer?"
Darryl's antics irritated Goliry, and she raised her hand, ready to slap him again.
"Argh!" Darryl reacted quickly and swam to the side, shouting, "You shouldn't do that, Fairy. I tried to save you, but you hit me instead. Aren't you biting the hand that feeds you?"
