The palm struck the back of Alora's sword as quickly as lightning.
Clang!
Alora trembled and took a few steps back, the longsword in her hand almost falling to the ground.
"You—"
Alora's chest felt stuffy. She looked at Darryl in shock and anger after she had regained her composure.
How was that even possible? There was no fluctuation of his internal energy when the man attacked, but he nearly knocked down her longsword.
Alora had never considered that the divine power in Darryl's body was being deliberately concealed at the time. Not only could she not see it, but neither could the Palace Master of the Belladonna Palace.
At the same time, the five Swordmaidens all changed the expressions on their pretty faces and exclaimed.
"Are you okay?"
"I didn't expect Darryl to be so powerful."
"You lied to us just now that you are just a passer-by, and you have been hiding your strength all the time. You are such a liar!"
"It seems like he killed Andres. Otherwise, why did he hide his strength all the time?"
The Hexa Swordmaidens' conversation continued, and Alora's delicate face was filled with shame and anger.
The next thing Alora knew, she stared at Darryl and said coldly, "Darryl, be honest, did you kill Andres?" Alora did not initially suspect Darryl. She was just guessing that he might know who murdered Andres.
However, after learning that Darryl had concealed his true strength, Alora instinctively realized that he could have been the one to murder Andres instead.
Darryl did not want to say anything else since he could no longer hide. He smiled faintly and said, "So I will stop lying now. I killed Andres."
Darryl looked unconcerned as he said that.
Andres was a cunning and insidious scum in the world of cultivators. If Darryl had to make another choice, he would still take Andres' life without hesitation.
