Heather ignored the looks of praise and admiration directed her way. She was deep in thought as she gazed out the window toward the sea.
She had been gone for nearly two months. She yearned for her clansmen!
"Your meal is here."
After a while, two teenagers entered and sat next to her table. One of them was decked out in soft black armor made of fish skin. He had to be from the Sea Dragon Palace.
Heather would normally have noticed them, but she was in a bad mood. So, she did not see them.
"We want two bowls of seafood noodles."
"You'd better be quick. We're in a hurry, and if we arrive late because of you, we'll make sure your restaurant gets destroyed."
As soon as they sat down, the two from the Sea Dragon Palace began issuing orders while staring ferociously at everyone. The waiters appeared to be terrified.
The other customers were also terrified, and they ate their meals quietly.
The noodles were eventually served, and the two devoured their meals.
They were surprised to see Heather while they were eating. Was she not Ambrose's woman? What was she doing in Donghai?
After a few seconds of consternation, one of them said, "I'll keep an eye on her. You go and tell the boss. Go quickly!
"Okay."
One of them walked away while the other continued to eat.
Heather did not notice any of it. Her only thought was to return to the Sea Mackie Clan and never leave again. She was deeply hurt by the incident a few days ago.
After a while, she finished her bowl of noodles, paid for it, and walked out the door.
