Perfect Husband, The Destined One novel Chapter 5337

Then, one of the subchiefs named Rawlins Steins said to Alfredo as he fawned over him, "Boss, we're lucky tonight. This guy looks like a rich man's son. I bet we can finally make a fortune."

Then, he said to Darryl, "Dude, which family are you from? Tell us so that we can contact them and let them pay for your ransom."

Immediately, Alfredo and other subchiefs looked at Darryl with a half smile. To them, Darryl was like a puppet on a string, and they could do whatever they wanted to him.

At that moment, Rachelle also stared at Darryl to see his response.

Darryl chuckled as everyone looked at him and said carelessly, "Gentlemen, you guys have got it wrong. I'm not any rich man's son. I'm just a wanderer within the community. If you're trying to use me to get money, I'm afraid that's not gonna work out."

As Darryl spoke, he kept a straight face without the slightest trace of panic.

'Huh?'

When they heard what Darryl said, everyone's faces changed, including Alfredo, Rawlins, and the other subchiefs. They were raging inside.

'How audacious of this guy! He's still not afraid of dying at this point.'

As Rawlins thought to himself, he stood up and marched over to Darryl. He said fiercely, "Dude, do you know where this place is? How dare you fool around us?! Tell me, can we get money from you?"

Darryl said fearlessly, "I'm all by myself, and I don't have a penny on me. How am I supposed to give you money?"

Rawlins squinted and said, "Well, if we can't get money, we'll kill you."

Rawlins turned to Alfredo and said, "Boss, let's just kill him. After all, there's no use in keeping him."

Alfredo gulped a big sip of wine and waved his hand impatiently. "Off with the head."

Similar to Rawlins, Alfredo was upset as Darryl refused to cooperate.

'Great…'

After getting Alfredo's permission, Rawlins dragged Darryl out.

At that moment, Darryl remained calm and did not show a bit of worry, but his eyes were still glued to Rachelle.
