Like thunder, the golden ray was fast and powerful. It gave the impression that it could sever heaven and earth.
Even when Forsythe had everything under control, he could not stop swearing and marveling at the power of the Tyrant Hammer. 'Oh well, he deserves to be Elysium Gate's Sect Master. That ability shakes heaven and earth. I'm afraid I won't be able to block it.'
He laughed out loud to try to calm himself down in the face of the shocking situation. "What are you doing, Sect Master Ambrose? Everything is under our control. Stop pretending. Or are you going to burn the bridge after you have crossed it?"
To deepen the misunderstanding between Ambrose and the other sects, he did not forget to continue sowing discord between them due to his cunning personality.
"Shut up!" Ambrose's eyes were red. He scolded, "I never allied myself with you. Stop with it. Since you keep challenging and attacking Elysium Gate, I will make sure that your body stays here forever!"
As soon as his final word was spoken, the golden ray penetrated heaven and earth and appeared directly in front of Forsythe. The other did not dare to be careless. He quickly activated the force of the bloodline to form a shield around his body. He also raised his long saber in an attempt to deflect the attack.
The golden ray struck the long saber with force in the following seconds. Forsythe groaned as he was hurled backward. The granite slab he was standing on shattered into shards. His face turned pale as he steadied himself. Blood oozed from the corner of his mouth. He was visibly embarrassed. He was still smiling, though.
He wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth and said, "Sect Master Ambrose, I never imagined you could be so ruthless despite your youth. We had an agreement. We would divide the world of cultivators in the World Universe once we had surrounded all of the sects. Who knew that you actually wanted them all to yourself? The Sea Dragon Palace suffered heavy losses when I attacked all of the sects last night. But, to work with you, I brought all of my men today. But you let your disciples leave and attack me at the most critical time? You are a truly ruthless individual."
One could not help but applaud Forsythe. He did an excellent job of portraying Ambrose as a ruthless individual willing to go to any length to achieve his goal. It had definitely caused the elites of the other sects to believe Forsythe's claims to be true when they had previously been skeptical. They were furious at Ambrose.
Abbess Mother Mylie was one of them. She pointed her longsword at Ambrose. "Damn you, Ambrose! The branch does not grow far from the tree. How ruthless of you to think to dominate the world of cultivators by yourself. The Emei Sect will never allow it!"
Her body moved quickly, and her longsword hummed as it aimed directly at Ambrose. Initially, she had a negative impression of Elysium Gate. When Forsythe put on such a convincing performance, she truly believed Ambrose had formed an alliance with Sea Dragon Palace but had decided to part ways with him.
The world of the cultivators valued high morality, and the way Ambrose broke his word to protect his own profits was the most despicable action that everyone despised. However, Abbess Mother Mylie was unaware that Forsythe had duped her.
"Let's kill him together!" Master Jade exclaimed. Along with the elites from the other sect, they activated their internal energy to dash at Ambrose once again.
"You!" Ambrose's blood vessel nearly burst when he saw Forsythe using them again. 'Wait, what the f*ck? Are they a bunch of idiots? He has been so obvious in his efforts to sow discord between us, and yet they are still unaware.'
Ambrose did not have time to explain because the elite members attacked all at once. As blood filled his eyes, he became nervous and anxious. He exclaimed, "Elysium Gate never considers dominating the cultivator world. Don't force me. Stop forcing me…"
The yelling was so loud that it echoed above the headquarters of the Elysium Gate. However, neither Abbess Mother Mylie nor anyone else was interested in listening to him. They accelerated, and the air around them distorted.
'Fine! Fine!' Ambrose laughed out loud. "Since none of you are willing to listen and are determined to kill me. So be it…"
