'What?' Ambrose felt like a bomb went off in his brain, and it immediately went blank. 'That baby…is…is my half brother? How's that possible? Father is a righteous man, and he despises evil. How could he be affiliated with the leader of the pirate organization? It's impossible.'
He glared at Forsythe with his reddened eyes. "It is a heinous and malicious charge. That baby is not my younger brother. My father would never do something like that. It is all part of your conspiracy against me! Did you and the Lange family collaborate to fabricate the hospital's outcome? Yes, that is it. The outcome is fabricated. The blood test to match my blood with the baby was the same. It is all a ruse..."
His body shook, his voice was hoarse, and he had utterly lost his mind. He considered many possibilities after his blood matched the baby in the Hidden Hero Sect's main hall, but that was the last time he would guess. As the Sect Master of Elysium Gate, that was unacceptable for him.
Forsythe curled his lips as he watched Ambrose's antics, "It makes no difference whether you believe it. In any case, the Empress had already admitted to it."
Ambrose was stunned as if an invisible hammer had smashed his heart. 'Did the Empress admit it?'
By that point, Forsythe was too tired to waste more time with Ambrose. He spoke slowly, "Okay, I have said everything I needed to say. Now you must surrender. I need to take you to see His Excellency and find out where the baby is. If you cooperate with us, we may be able to save your life."
There was no response from Ambrose. His face turned pale while his eyes sparkled. It was as if his mind was struggling with something.
After a few seconds, he laughed out loud. "As a member of Elysium Gate, we will never surrender."
He turned around and jumped off the cliff as the last word was spoken. The sea was rough, with the tides crashing against the cliff. Ambrose was entirely obscured by the waves in the blink of an eye.
'F*ck!' Forsythe was furious. He had devised a meticulous plan and was confident that Ambrose would not be able to flee. He did not expect Ambrose to be so stubborn and choose to jump off the cliff.
