"Scram!" Ambrose roared when he saw the elites coming at him. He swung the Tyrant Hammer crazily to avoid them getting near him. After that, he no longer had any energy left in him. He did not have any energy left after that. He tripped and nearly fell.
"Ambrose!" Heather's tears continued to fall. She screamed in anguish, "Run for your life! Just leave me here. I beg you!"
She could not stop crying as tears rolled down her face like pearls.
Ambrose forced a smile when he felt Heather's sadness. His eyes hinted with gentleness and determination. "Heather, if I run away, then I'm not the Ambrose you know. If today is the last day we live, we shall die together."
His voice was soft, but his words were powerful. He strolled up the wooden stairs of the Wishing Star Tower, toward the top floor, despite the pain from his injury. He realized he could not save Heather on his own. As a result, even if he were to die, he wanted to be with Heather. When Heather was gone for a few days, he felt as if darkness had taken over his entire world. After finally seeing her, he was not about to leave so easily.
'Ambrose…' Heather's heart trembled. A flashback from the first time she met Ambrose appeared in her mind. Suddenly, she was not scared anymore. She stopped crying and said, "Fine, let's die together."
That had an impact on the Sea Dragon Palace disciples. Ambrose was a strong and loyal man, regardless of his position. They admired him for risking his life to save the woman he adored most.
"What are you waiting for?" Forsythe, who was still leaning on the wall, had not had his energy back yet. He saw how everyone was just standing there and doing nothing. He yelled out angrily. "Stop him!"
With so many of them around, it would be the most humiliating moment if they could not stop Ambrose.
"Kill him!" The elites roared again and ran toward Ambrose again.
"I'm waiting…" Ambrose laughed. He grabbed the wooden rail with one of his hands and swung the Tyrant Hammer with another hand to fight with the elites coming after him again.
