Heather's eyes were angry as she yelled the questions. When Morticia heard that, she looked embarrassed. It was awful of her to return here after she promised to leave.
She paused briefly before responding to Heather, "Don't worry. I'll keep my promise. I won't hurt the people from the Hidden Hero Sect and Carter Mansion. I just want to rescue His Excellency."
Her plan was to break the formation and leave with Archfiend Antigonus. She would not stay a minute longer after that. It did not count as a breach of the oath if she only helped to break the formation and not hurt anyone from the Hidden Hero Sect.
Heather was stunned and did not know how to react.
'Break the formation?' Ambrose, Chester, Dax, and the rest frowned.
Even Archfiend Antigonus was helpless when faced with the Battle of The Star Formation. How could a subordinate of his know how to break the formation?
"Morticia!" Archfiend Antigonus looked at Morticia as his eyes sparkled with viciousness. "Didn't you escape with the baby? How dare you come back here now?"
Archfiend Antigonus could not suppress his rage after thinking about how Morticia had escaped. Morticia was scared. She said, "Your Excellency, I…I didn't want to escape. I just don't want my baby to be in danger… And I already know how to break the formation…"
Her voice trembled. That was the first time she had lied to Archfiend Antigonus. Despite trying hard to calm down, she was still very nervous.
"You know how to break the formation?" Archfiend Antigonus narrowed his eyes; he did not believe her. "Morticia, you are no longer the old Morticia. Do you think I will believe what you said?"
He pointed at Heather. "Do you have a deal with them? Or have you plotted with them to kill me?"
He did not speak loudly, but his voice contained a suffocating pressure.
