Perfect Husband, The Destined One novel Chapter 5526

"Ah, we've only got bad timing to blame. I'll get back at you when my powers are restored."

As the final word rang through the air, Antigonus cast a glance around him coldly with a displeased gaze. The plan had been to get the child, and wipe out the Hidden Hero Sect.

He had never thought that the Hidden Hero Sect would have casted that wretched Battle of the Star Formation, trapping him for an entire day and night.

And Master Magaera just had to rush over at the very last second… it was a blessing that he had sacrificed Morticia at the very last second, and formed the Blood Sacrifice Formation…

Whew…

Master Magaera's expression grew unreadable at Antigonus' jeers, but he was unable to retaliate.

To tell the truth, Master Magaera could have never guessed that Antigonus would be ruthless and cruel enough to sacrifice Morticia, his most trusted subordinate at the very end to form the Blood Sacrifice Formation just so he would be able to get out alive.

And the power that had exploded out of the formation had definitely been strong enough to heavily injure Master Magaera's fairy soul, leaving him with no ability to take on Antigonus.

The soldiers of the Godly Region, too, were worse for wear.

"Antigonus!"

Yet just then, Zeke strode over with bloodshot eyes, glowering at Antigonus as he roared, "Bring my brothers back to me alive."

Zeke had been too far away for the formation to hit him hard enough to cause much damage at all, and he was hardly injured. Seeing Antigonus so wildly arrogant made it hard for him to hold his temper back.

As the final word rang through the air, Zeke exploded with energy as a brilliant golden ray shot out from around him and made a beeline for Antigonus.

Zeke was filled with nothing but hatred and rage then. Him and his brothers were thick as thieves, only for three of them to die tragically at the hands of Antigonus. On top of that, they had been drained of their fairy soul— this was worse than having killed them.

And just then, Zeke could sense that Antigonus was pretty drained of his energy, and the Tyrant of the Sky Fiend was gone as well. What better time to strike than now?

"You dare attack me, lowly guard dog?"

Antigonus smirked at the sight of Zeke charging over, not nervous in the slightest.

Antigonus had never taken Zeke as much of a threat at all. Seeing as he was extremely weak then, he did not think that Zeke was any match for him.
