"Remember, you owe me one," Yvette said. She waved her hand and said, "Ok. I'm leaving." Then she turned and left the Carter Mansion.
That night, Darryl slept on the floor, watching over Yvonne. He was afraid if he slept on the bed, he might accidentally touch the needles in his sleep.
He did not sleep well, the floor was hard and cold. The next day, with dark circles around his eyes, he brought Yvonne back t o Donghai City. On the journey, he called Zephyr and instructed him to lead his men and search for a cure for Yvonne.
It was noon when Darryl brought Yvonne back home and realized that no one was home upon entering the hall. He brought
her straight to the bedroom, feeling slightly conflicted as he was not sure if Lily would b e upset with him bringing Yvonne home.
Thinking of Lily, he quickly called her.
She picked up the call shortly, sounding excited. "Hubby! You finally called! Where have you been for the past two days?"
Lily has not heard from Darryl for the past few days. She had been worried sick.
Darryl laughed. He said in a lighter tone, "I had something going on,"
He frowned as he could hear a commotion going on Lily's end of the call. "Lily, where are you?" He asked unconsciously.
Lily said cheerfully, "I’m at Angela Angel's concert! It's at Donghai Television Station.
Come find me!"
