Prince Auten pretended to kneel in sorrow. When he saw how sad the rest of the people were, he curled his lips into a smile.
"Senior Uncle." He pretended to squeeze out a few drops of tears while talking to Elder Lerin. "Darryl must have done this! During the fight, he injured the grandmasters. They must have died due to psychotic break after returning to the secret chamber to heal themselves."
'Oh, Darryl, please don't blame me. You are the only one I can push the blame to,' Prince Auten thought.
Elder Lerin's eyes were red as he clenched his fist. "Darryl! I vowed to make you my enemy for life!"
The other disciples were also enraged.
"Senior Uncle!"
"Damn that Darryl!"
"Darryl killed the grandmasters. We must seek revenge from Darryl!"
Elder Lerin, who had no idea Prince Auten was using him, kneeled in front of the Wudang Seven Swords' dead bodies. He sobbed and yelled, "Don't worry, Grandmasters. We will avenge you all, no matter the cost."
The rest of them responded.
"That's right! We will take vengeance for all of you!"
"Revenge! Revenge!"
As the commotion continued, an elder sighed and thought of something. "Could this be the Wudang Sect's fate? Our sect master had left us, and now the seven grandmasters had died horribly. No one is available to lead our sect. What are our options?"
Everyone was dumbfounded as they looked at each other with no motivation. Just then, a disciple ran in with a letter. Senior Uncles, I discovered this letter on Master's table."
The name of that disciple was Loin Donovan. He was Master Jade's final disciple. He was tidying Master Jade's things and found the letter. He arrived immediately after that.
A letter?
Elder Lerin was stunned for a split second before accepting and opening the letter to read it. The rest of the crowd surrounded him.
Elder Lerin finished reading the letter's content in a matter of minutes. He took a deep breath and kneeled before Prince Auten. "Sect Master Jade had left a will. Graham will be appointed as the next Sect Master. Accept my respects, Sect Master."
