Boom!
Then, their bodies collided. A groan was heard, and Veron trembled as she staggered backward. She felt her finger numb and was almost unable to grip the longsword.
'How's that possible?' Veron regained her balance and bit her lips tightly. She glared at Prince Auten as she felt shocked.
Graham's power seemed to have increased more than tenfold since the last time she met him. Her mind was buzzing for a moment before going blank.
Veron had already been taken aback by Beka's true abilities. She became frazzled when she realized Graham's power had increased, and she could not make sense of anything.
Veron had no idea Beka and Graham's true identities were far more powerful than she could have imagined.
Out of shock, Veron remembered her father's death, and she was reminded of her hatred as the longsword began to buzz.
"Even if I die today, I want to take you down with me," Veron said with a cold voice, and her body trembled as she stabbed Prince Auten again.
That stab contained all of Veron's power. The air distorted, and the waterfall looked like it had stopped flowing.
However, Prince Auten sneered when he felt the sword's power and was not bothered. "How dare a nobody like you fight with me? Go ahead and reunite with your father in hell."
Immediately, Prince Auten erupted his divine power again and fought with Veron.
Despite her power, Veron was still a long way from Prince Auten. He struck the back of the sword with his palm in less than two rounds.
Clang!
Veron sensed a powerful force approaching her. Her entire arm had become numb, and the longsword had fallen. She staggered backward until she reached the upland's edge.
"Argh!" Dozens of meters below the upland was the gushing river. Veron retreated to the edge, and before she could regain her balance, her feet slipped, and she cried out. She fell and created a splash on the surface of the river.
'D*mn it!'
