Perfect Husband, The Destined One novel Chapter 5762

Veron nodded as she agreed with Bowen. Suddenly, a thought popped into her mind. "I agree this place looks beautiful, and it can relax a person's mind. But I don't see anything fun."

"The fun part is in the inner part of the ranch," Bowen answered with a smile. The way he looked at Veron was gentle and soft.

After spending two days together, Bowen had fallen in love with Veron, but he had not found the right time to confess.

'The inner part of the ranch?' Veron paused. After a while, she urged him, "Then let's go there now."

She tried to pull Bowen.

"Shh!" Suddenly, Bowen made a quiet gesture with his finger and dragged Veron to crouch in the bushes beside them.

Later, he looked around with vigilance.

Veron did not understand him. "Why are you so nervous?"

Just as Veron finished talking, a group of rider army passed by them. The rider armies wore unison black armor with long sabers in their hands. They looked terrifying.

Bowen did not answer immediately. He waited for the group of rider army to leave and replied, "Because the ranch is a forbidden area. No one is allowed to enter without the token. So we must be careful to avoid being discovered by those riders."

Veron nodded. Then she thought of something. "Isn't your father the Queen's trusted right-hand man? Don't you have the authority to enter here?"

Bowen smiled bitterly. "It's fine if you want to come in for a visit. But the person in charge of the ranch is my father's enemy. Those riders are his subordinates. So I don't want to be discovered to avoid causing any trouble."

Bowen did not lie. Even though his father, Kokun, was the Queen's right-hand man and had a high reputation among the tribe, he was not alone. A general called Tyson Eden had many war achievements and had the same authority as Kokun.
