"Will you really do anything if I give you the antidote?" Darryl teased her as her appearance amused him.
Debra bit her lips and nodded.
Darryl wanted to laugh. This woman looked so enchanting when she was in a weak state.
Darryl became playful; he curved the corner of his mouth. "Why don't you call me 'my dear hubby'?" Darryl said as he sat comfortably on the chair beside her.
What?
Debra shuddered. Her face was flushed, and her lips were about to bleed as she continued to bite them.
She was the dignified Artemis Sect Master,
pure and noble. If she were to call him ' hubby', her name would be tarnished.
"Don't cross the line,” Debra whispered as she lowered her head.
She was ashamed and angry, but she could only swallow her pride. She desperately hoped that Darryl would change his condition.
After all, she could call him 'my dear hubby
Darryl laughed as a playful look spread on his face. "Well, if you don't want to do that, then just forget about it. I haven't eaten for a day; I should take some pills to fill my stomach. This antidote is not harmful to my body."
Darryl picked the pill up and was about to pop it into his mouth.
"No-" Debra was anxious, and her cheeks blushed. The toxicity of the Three Poisons Pill became stronger, so she had no choice but to bite her lips and said softly, "Very well, my dear hubby..."
Debra's face turned even redder after she said that.
As the Artemis Sect’s Sect Master, she never imagined that she could say such shameful words. Fortunately, there was no one else in the room. Otherwise, even if she had to die in pain, she would never give in to it.
