Purchased A Mr. Right novel Chapter 1983

...

Three days later, at the international airport.

The sound of radio and suitcase sliding over the floor could be heard from time to time in the airport lobby. Many people were seeing off others near the security checkpoint.

Mia was among them.

Today, she was here to see Dan off.

After checking in, Dan held the boarding pass and passport in his hand. The brother and sister stood at the entrance of the passage.

Dan stared at Mia's face for a while and asked worriedly, "Did you cry again last night?"

She put on light makeup today.

But her eyes were black-ringed and swollen.

She covered her eyes, not wanting Dan to worry about her. Then she smiled and said, "I'm fine!"

Dan looked sideways at the security checkpoint.

He was going to board the plane later, but the thing he wanted to do this time had not been completed.

Dan looked at Mia and said, "Mia, are you sure that you don't want to live in Country M with me? If you don't like those universities, we can choose slowly in the future."

On that day when Mia had a farewell meal with Dan, what Dan gave Mia after she met Desmond in E.M and returned to the car was transferring document.

Dan chose several schools for her and wanted to take her away with him.

That was why he returned.

Mia still shook her head. "No, I don't want to leave."

Dan was silent for a moment and asked, "Is it because of Desmond?"

Mia did not answer.

But her slightly drooping eyelashes and the expression on her face had already explained everything.

She didn't want to leave because Desmond was still here.

Dan felt bitter in his heart.

Dan tightened his grip on his passport. After a long while, he said, "Mia, I know why Desmond wants to divorce you. Maybe it's because of what I said to him."

Mia was stunned. "What did you say?"

Dan sighed and said truthfully, "I told him that he has saved your life that year. I also told him that you married him because you had sympathy for him and wanted to repay his kindness."

They were both men.

Desmond was able to see through his thoughts. He was also able to see through Desmond's thoughts.

Desmond liked Mia.

Therefore, Dan knew that there would be such a result after he finished speaking.

When Mia suddenly said that she was going to get married, Dan was far away in Country M. He knew Mia's character well. At first, he simply thought that Mia was forced to get married.

He thought it was because of the agreement among the elders and also because that Old Master Hector was ill.

Therefore, she couldn't bring herself to refuse. Furthermore, she owed him a favor. That was why she agreed. She didn't have any feelings for Desmond.

Dan thought that this marriage was not what Mia wanted, so he wanted to solve it for her.

But now, Dan found that he was wrong.

Dan frowned and said in a hoarse voice, "I'm sorry, Mia. I'm too despicable. I don't think Desmond really wants to divorce you."

Two seconds later after Dan finished speaking.

He saw Mia, who was standing in front of him, suddednly turned around and left quickly after a short pause. After a few steps, she began running and soon disappeared in the airport lobby.

There was a faint trace of grief in Dan's eyes.

In fact, when Mia was going to get married, he had an impulse to come back to take her away.

But he did not do that, because he knew better than anyone else that Mia just regarded him as her brother and family.

And his feelings were destined to be buried in his heart forever.
