Rekindling Her Affection (Sabrina and Nelson) novel Chapter 27

Nelson's sarcastic tone left Sabrina at a loss for words.

"You're not interrupting anything, Nelson. Sabrina might feel embarrassed if you say that. I haven't won her over yet," Gerald told Nelson.

Hearing that, Nelson said, "Oh? Is my dear—"

Sabrina, who was pouring water, accidentally knocked over the cup and looked at him nervously.

Puzzled, Gerald looked at Nelson. "What?"

Nelson let out a chuckle. "Is my dear sister that hard to win over?"

Gerald scratched his head. "Sabrina is a wonderful lady. I want her to get to know me better, and if possible, I want to marry her."

Nelson let out another "Oh?" and then looked at Sabrina with a half-smile. "Do I need to change into slippers?"

He scanned Sabrina's apartment. It was a spacious, stylishly designed space with an open layout connecting the kitchen, study, and living room, all in a sleek white color scheme.

Her taste was impeccable.

Hearing her say it wasn't necessary, Nelson placed the dinner he'd brought on the kitchen island that doubled as a dining table.

"Weren't you saying you were hungry just now? Have some of these first." Gerald was genuinely attentive. He opened the boxes of food for Sabrina.

However, he frowned upon seeing what was inside.

Nelson, sitting at the island, asked, "What's wrong? Didn't you know she likes spicy food?"

His mother said Sabrina loved spicy food.

"But she injured her hand. She needs to avoid spicy foods," Gerald explained.

Nelson fell silent at his words.

Standing on the other side of the island, Sabrina looked at the ground silently, avoiding his gaze.

Gerald checked his phone. "The food delivery will be here in five minutes. I'll go wait by the elevator to save time."

Sabrina tried to stop Gerald. "I'm not that hungry."
