Gerald invited Sabrina to eat at a unique Rietian Restaurant on Sunday.

As soon as she entered, Gerald waited for her while holding a big bouquet of Sweetheart Roses.

"Thank you."

Sabrina took the flowers and smiled at Gerald.

"Are you going to buy me flowers whenever you see me?"

"Yes, standing on ceremony is a must. After all, I'm going to be your official boyfriend."

Gerald smiled while maintaining a distance from Sabrina. Seeing him being so cautious made Sabrina feel bad for him.

"We can hold hands after a few more days."

Sabrina thought she could hold hands with Gerald after the divorce certificate was ready. Hearing this, Gerald couldn't help but stroke Sabrina's face.

"That's so kind of you."

They arrived at the private room and found the dishes were already served. Gerald couldn't take his eyes off Sabrina as she ate. He gazed at her while supporting his chin with his hand.

"Aren't you going to eat?"

"I fear you might run away. I can't believe this is real."

Gerald couldn't believe Sabrina would want to start a relationship with him.

"Sabrina, why do you believe in me?"

"Do you mean believing that you are really into me?"

Gerald nodded.

"Yes. I asked if you believed me, and you said you believed me without any hesitation. If it were my dad, he would have doubted me."

Sabrina put down the fork and looked at him thoughtfully. Gerald was quite handsome. Otherwise, he wouldn't be the town's sought-after playboy.

"Gerald, you used to look like a delinquent when you dyed your hair. Back then, you were always goofing off here and there whenever I ran into you. But you had your natural hair color and appeared less of a troublemaker when we watched the seagulls together."

He looked more dignified than before. He looked stylish, wearing a white T-shirt under a brown casual suit.

"You believe in me just because I have my natural hair?"

Sabrina nodded.

"Yes, everything starts from the hair."

"Aren't you afraid that this is just my trick to deceive women? After all, I have had many girlfriends in the past."

Gerald wanted Sabrina to think carefully as he spoke. After all, he had a dark past.
