In the end, Sabrina couldn't push herself to address Nelson as her brother, as she was deeply in love with him as a woman.
She was infatuated with him to the point that she'd brush off his cold shoulder treatment. She was happy as long as she was with him.
Too bad he wasn't into her, refusing to give her a chance of getting to know her, all because of his affection for another woman.
Putting that aside, Sabrina respected Nelson for staying loyal to one woman in his quick-paced life. She secretly patted herself on the back for her great taste in men.
Hence, she willingly ceded.
Nelson had told her to pick up the brooch at any time, or he could deliver it to her. She had never felt so relaxed when she agreed to it.
She believed she was worthy of love. One day, someone would treasure her.
…
Shannon was incensed when she heard that Pamela distracted Nelson at a critical time.
"That woman is not even half as good as Brina. Why is Nelson head over heels for her? I need to create a chance for Brina and Nelson to get to know each other. A beauty with a good personality like Brina is definitely Nelson's type."
"Mom, stop fretting about it. I had a talk with Sabrina." Nelson led the exhausted Ronaldo into the house. He was speechless at his parents, who stayed up until 3:00 am.
"What did you talk about?"
"We'll get a divorce after I overcome my jetlag." Nelson unbuttoned his collar and sat on the couch.
Shannon gasped in disbelief, "Did Brina agree to it?"
"Yeah. I sent her home just now, and she gave me her blessing. Just as you hoped, she and I will be siblings from now on."
Shannon was surprised to learn that the couple had talked it out.
"You married and set aside a lovely young lady for three years. Now, you're getting a divorce. Nelson Tucker, won't you regret this?"
"Not at all."
