Rekindling Her Affection (Sabrina and Nelson) novel Chapter 86

Sabrina looked up at Nelson.

He was sitting on the sofa in a simple knit sweater and casual pants.

His gaze was gentle, resembling a husband who truly loved her.

But she knew he wasn't.

Sabrina didn't want to argue with him in front of Xyla, so she simply glanced at him without saying a word.

Nelson was unfazed by her lack of response.

He continued to watch her intently as she moved around the living room with their nephew, Cameron Tucker, in her arms.

Although Cameron was just five months old, he weighed 19 pounds. Since Sabrina was slender, she struggled to hold him.

"Let me carry him," Nelson said and approached her.

She ignored him, as did Cameron. He clung to her tightly as Nelson approached, grabbing her sweater with his small hands.

When Nelson saw the chubby little hand on her chest, he frowned and scolded the baby, "Get your hand off there. That's not yours."

He then pried the child's hand away.

Sabrina was stunned to see this. "What is wrong with you?"

His behavior genuinely took her aback.

Sabrina had been holding the baby the whole hour that Noah and his wife had been gone, either sitting on the sofa or strolling about, muttering to him softly.

Shannon and the maids wanted to hold the baby, but she refused. "I really like him. Something about holding him and earning his trust is beyond words."

Her words were heartwarming and inexplicably moving.

The new maid wasn't aware of the complicated relationship between Sabrina and Nelson and remarked, "With your beauty and Mr. Tucker's good looks, your children would be stunning."

Sabrina didn't respond but focused on playing with Cameron's chubby little hand.

She had once hoped for two children, a boy and a girl. The thought of having a son that resembled Nelson brought her joy.

But now, they were getting divorced, discussions about children seemed out of place.

Besides, there had never been a right moment for that in their relationship.
