Remedy For Love novel Chapter 10

"What about the stamp? Miss Poppi! Where is it?" Hugh shouted into the phone's receiver. His forehead was about to pop a vein in annoyance.

On the other end of the line, Poppi put the phone against her ear and calmly said, "Mr. Su, I'm so sorry. If the private deal you mentioned means buying it with money, then I don't like that idea. Goodbye."

After she said the word "goodbye" to Hugh, she quickly hung up. She took a deep breath, looked at the phone, and muttered, "I can only take a gamble."

The phone in her hand was silent for half a minute before its pleasant ring tone rang again. Poppi's jaw dropped slightly. She gently swiped the screen and lightly said, "Mr. Su, anything else?"

"You won. I can come to Ye City this afternoon. Meet me at the Blue Sea Hotel at 6:00 p.m. I'll give you the room number later," he said with a sigh. Then, he added, "Please bring it there."

"Okay, no problem," Poppi agreed. "Will Shirley go with you?" she asked.

"She has to go to another city to shoot photographs for a magazine and a show. She'll be in Ye City in two days. II

" Well then, see you in the afternoon, Mr. Su," Poppi

said and hung up the call. She glanced at herself in the glass window and did a little victory pose. However, she did not notice that one of her colleagues looked quite jealous when she passed by.

The sky turned deep orange a few hours later, and it was time to leave. After Poppi got off work, she went back to her house to retrieve the stamp and took a taxi to the Blue Sea Hotel.

"1201.." The trip was quite short. Her phone beeped when she arrived, and upon seeing the message, she went to the designated room and pressed the doorbell. The door quickly opened, and a round head popped out. It was a young man. He looked at Poppi and asked, "Are you, Miss Poppi?"

"Yes, I am," Poppi nodded and asked, "Excuse me, is Mr. Su there?"

"Yes. Please come in."

Just then, Hugh's voice filled the suite. The man turned around and welcomed Poppi in.

When Poppi entered the suite, she saw many open suitcases, scattered clothes, and messy tables. Meanwhile, Hugh paced back and forth in the room. He wore a well-pressed shirt and pants, which made him look young and fashionable.

His eyes were as bright as a clear spring, and he had short hair that stopped at his ears and thin lips. He looked dazzling in person, and his face was even more handsome in real life than in the photo. This kind of man completely changed Poppi's general impression of a "boss."

In turn, Hugh also looked at Poppi and marveled at her beauty. In his mind, he had long imagined her as a cunning and sharp-looking businesswoman. Now that he saw how stunning she was, he felt a little guilty.

Poppi's hair was quite smooth, and the ends were slightly curly because of the heat. Her delicate face, intelligent eyes, and curvy figure made her look like a gorgeous model. Moreover, her smile did not look stingy at all. It was so bright and infectious!

"Mr. Su, it's nice to meet you. I am Poppi," Poppi said and stretched out her hand in a friendly manner.

"Hello." Upon hearing the greeting, Hugh came back to his senses and gently shook Poppi's hand. "Please, sit down," he offered.

Poppi arched an eyebrow and glanced at the messy room. Hugh followed her line of sight and immediately felt embarrassed. "Pearson, what are you doing! You made the room into a mess. There are no places for guests to sit. Please come here quickly and clean it up!" he shouted.
