Roar of the Supreme Warrior novel Chapter 1119

Jeanne believed that the Emperor is capable of pulling this off. After all, he was the most powerful man in Sol.

However, she was puzzled. Why would the Emperor help an ordinary woman like her out?

Wearing a surly expression, James looked at the men kneeling on the ground and asked, “What’s your name?”

“M-My name’s Forrest Long. The Tucksons put the word out that we’ll be rewarded if we find these two women. My subordinates happened to bump into them nearby, so I brought them here.”

“I didn’t do anything, Emperor. Please spare me!”

Wearing a grim expression, James said, “Bring them to the Tucksons and ask them for the reward.”

“I wouldn’t dare! Please, let us go!”

“Shut up, this is an order!” James kicked him, “Weren’t you pretty bold just now? What happened? I’m ordering you to bring them to the Tucksons. I’m interested to see what they plan to do to them.”

After recollecting himself, Forrest asked, “A-Are you saying that we’re only putting on an act?”

“What else?” James asked, “Do you really intend to sell them off?”

“N-No… I understand.” As if pardoned, Forrest hurriedly said, “Emperor, can I redeem myself?”

James ignored him. Looking at Delilah and her mother, he said, “Please follow them to the Tucksons. I’ll be there shortly.”

“Mhm.” Delilah nodded.

James looked at the men kneeling on the ground and said, “You may rise.”

Forrest and his subordinates stood up.

Under James’ orders, they took Delilah and her mother away.

James got downstairs and looked at the leaving van. Then, he got in his car and headed to the military region.

Along the way, he contemplated the current dynamics in the Capital. The relationships between various families, military men, and politicians were intricate and convoluted. If he made a move on a single one of them, the Capital could descend into chaos. Besides, there could be spies inside the Red Flame Army.
