Outside Hope Villa District…
Three thousand fully armed mercenaries surrounded the entire district.
The security guards had been annihilated, except for three. They were kneeling on the ground, with guns pressed against their heads.
Not too far away, a column of convoys was stopped in their tracks. Thousands of fully armed soldiers were on high alert.
A man in a black jacket whose face was covered in scars was standing nearby the security room. Behind him were a dozen men, who were aiming their RPGs at the convoys.
James approached.
A soldier immediately presented him with his bulletproof vest.
However, James waved slightly and politely declined. He walked over to Nott.
“Halt.”
With a loudspeaker in his hand, Nott yelled, “Take another step and we’ll open fire.”
James stopped.
A few shielded soldiers hurriedly walked over to James and handed him a loudspeaker. James lightly waved. “I do not need this.”
Looking at Nott, James catalyzed True Energy and yelled, “What are you trying to do? Do you know where you are right now? This is the Capital. All escape routes have been sealed off. Do you seriously think you can escape?”
As James had catalyzed True Energy, his voice was audible even from twenty meters away. James’ voice buzzed in Nott’s ears. It was a little uncomfortable.
After a few seconds, he replied, “I have no plans of leaving this place alive. Bring Halvor here at once and prepare me a helicopter.”
