Callan put his finger on her pulse.
After a while, he retracted his hand and said, “Well, it’s true the Yin and Yang in your body are unbalanced. There’s too much Cold Energy within your body.”
“Teacher, please accept my respect.”
Cynthia immediately knelt on the ground and kowtowed to Callan.
Callan frankly accepted it.
After Cynthia was done with the formalities, Callan smiled and said, “Alright, that’s enough. Since you’re my apprentice now, I should give you a gift as your teacher. However, I didn’t bring anything with me, so I’ll owe it to you for now. I’ll make up for it next time.”
“Thank you!”
Cynthia stood up.
Quincy, who was standing aside, looked envious.
She looked at James and said, “James, find me a teacher too! I want to learn martial arts as well.”
James rolled his eyes and said, “You’re fine. Why do you suddenly want to learn martial arts? It’s tough, and you won’t be able to bear the hardships.”
“Not necessarily.”
Quincy looked at Thea and said, “Thea can bear it. Why can’t I?”
“Since you’ve got the heart to learn martial arts, I’ll accept you as my apprentice.” Callan was in a good mood.
James hurriedly said, “Why are you still standing there in a daze? Hurry and show your respect to your teacher.”
Quincy regained her senses and immediately knelt on the ground. “Thank you, Teacher.”
“Alright. You can get up.”
Quincy got back on her feet.
James looked at Quincy and Cynthia, saying, “You guys should study hard. He’s an incredible senior figure in the ancient martial art world. It’s not an exaggeration to say he’s the number one in this world.”
He was not exaggerating.
Callans’ capabilities were enough to earn him the title of number one.
In his heyday, no one in the world was his opponent, not even Thomas.
