“What are you doing here? You’re poisoned. Leave now!” Thea chastised James.
At that moment, Lucjan and the Blood Emperor who had been losing ground were finally given a breath of respite. The two hurriedly stepped back.
In the blink of an eye, James appeared beside Thea. He glanced at her before looking at Lucjan and the Blood Emperor, saying, “The poison is no more. Let me help you.”
“Deal with it yourself.”
After saying that, Thea left.
“What the…” James was confused.
‘Why did she leave all of a sudden?’
“Hey!” James cried out. However, Thea was nowhere to be seen.
Below, Thomas witnessed the entire process.
“The Sect Leader of the Celestial Sect is growing stronger by the day. However, the moment James appeared, she seemed to have exited some sort of state, which caused her strength to diminish a little.”
He stroked his chin and contemplated.
‘Why is that?
‘Oh, right! The state of insanity!’
Thomas immediately thought of it. He saw records of the Demonic Sword Art on the stone wall in the Snow Cavern. The Demonic Sword Art can only be performed to its fullest extent in a state of insanity.
Thomas looked in the direction where Thea left and murmured, “Could it be Thea? Did the Spirit Turtle blood within her cause her strength to drastically increase?”
Meanwhile, Lucjan and the Blood Emperor looked at one another. Then, they nodded.
They stood no chance against the Celestial Sect’s Sect Leader. Now, however, she was gone, and James had returned. There was no way they could not defeat James together.
“James, you could have escaped. However, you returned to die.”
Lucjan’s face darkened, and he walked toward James in mid-air.
Holding a blood-red sword in his hand, the Blood Emperor slowly approached James.
James looked at the two most powerful figures in the world. Holding the Blade of Justice in his hand, his aura burst forth.
